1. What is ECTS? (ECTS Grading Scale)

ECTS Grading Scale or European Credit and Transfer and Accumulation System is an evaluating system of the European Commission. This evaluating framework has been created to support students, in their exchange starting with one college to another, by giving them a common reviewing platform. This framework permits the local and international grades to be utilized interchangeably. The evaluations arrange from A to F. The ECTS isn’t to be utilized exclusively, Or maybe as a decision to interpret grades of one institution to another. Moreover, ECTS is created to encourage students in their studies and move credits from one college to the next by giving due acknowledgment to the study received there.

2. How do you calculate ECTS?

To calculate your ECTS in a particular subject, Add up your credit hours for the subject in 1 week, then multiply it will total weeks for the subject. Finally, Divide it with 30 (1 ECTS = 30hrs). That will be your total ECTS in the subject. Or, simply Click here to calculate it.

3. How many ECTS is a masters degree?

Masters degree generally has 60 ECTS for 1 year, and 120 ECTS for 2 years.

4. What does 180 ECTS credits mean?

180 ECTS credits is equivalent to 3 years of Bachelor Programme. A masters program of 2 years, has 120 ECTS credits.
